The Investor Insight Forum, hosted by Middle Michigan Development Corporation, will take place on March 17, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at The Venue at 501 in downtown Clare, Michigan and is our first exclusive opportunity for our partners and investors to enjoy a sneak peek of the year ahead. This forum is designed to bring together regional investors, business leaders, and community partners for a focused conversation on economic trends, investment opportunities, and collaborative growth across Middle Michigan.
The event will open with registration followed by welcome remarks, setting the stage for a timely discussion on regional development. Attendees will then hear a keynote address from Quentin Messer, President and CEO of the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, offering statewide perspective on economic momentum, investment priorities, and Michigan’s future competitiveness.
Following a brief transition, the forum will feature a Rural Economic Outlook panel highlighting challenges and opportunities facing rural communities and exploring strategies to attract and retain investment. The program will conclude with “Growing Middle Michigan Together,” a forward-looking presentation by MMDC President and CEO, Kati Mora, focused on regional collaboration, shared assets, and next-step opportunities for investors and partners.
Panelists include:
Luke Forrest, Vice Chair and Director of Engagement, Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity
Lisa Miller, Director of Partnerships and Engagement, Michigan Office of Rural Prosperity

Closing remarks will wrap up the formal program, with attendees receiving boxed lunches to go, allowing for continued networking and conversation beyond the event.
