Clare County Convention and Visitors Bureau
Clare County is an ideal location for families to visit and boasts such amenities as over 50,000 acres of State Forests, 300 miles of rivers, 28 miles of snowmobile trails and over 20 public access lakes. Hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and hiking are just a few ways to enjoy the great outdoors in Clare County. Snow Snake Ski and Golf Resort has 43 acres with six lifts serving 10 runs and a snow tubing park. Recent additions to Snow Snake include the Zip Line Tours and the Rocks and Valleys Off-Road Park. The City of Clare is home to an annual Irish Festival, a growing Amish population, a downtown comprised of unique shops, the Doherty, a historic landmark hotel and the ever popular Cops and Doughnuts Bakery. Plus the City of Clare is already wired for 1G Broadband service!
Mt. Pleasant Convention and Visitors Bureau
Mt. Pleasant is the largest city in the region where you will find several championship golf courses, a casino resort, museums and wildlife exploration, all in the greater Mt. Pleasant area. There are plenty of specialty retail shops and wonderful restaurants that include local family diners, ethnic fare and fine dining with regional flair. We also have indoor adventures at the Isabella County Events (ICE) Arena, Morey Courts Recreation Center, and the Soaring Eagle Casino. Mt. Pleasant plays host to countless cultural and theatrical events, as well as Central Michigan University NCAA Division I athletics. Plus the City of Mt. The Broadway Theater
The Broadway Theater is Mount Pleasant’s oldest movie and community theater. It is supported by the Friends of the Broadway, who renovated and have preserved this historic theater. The Broadway Theater features classic films, concerts and live performances and activities which entertain, educate, and culturally enrich the community.
A major multiplex movie theater that offers a large variety of first run movie options including 3D digital movies and special Big Screen events.

Central Michigan University’s Ticket Central is a great resource for theatrical performances, concerts, speakers and special events.
The Ideal Theater
The Ideal Theatre, which opened in 1930, has their original, fully lighted marque which gives the theatre a real touch of class. The theater offers first run movies with abundant and spacious seating. You can be assured that when you come to The Ideal Theatre, you will have the most appreciated popcorn experience.
Mt. Pleasant Discovery Museum
The Mt. Pleasant Discovery Museum is a 12,000 square foot children’s museum dedicated to establishing a fun, hands-on and educational experience for children of all ages. At the museum, children will engage in subjects such as math, science, world cultures, regional history and the arts.
Mount Pleasant Speedway
The Mount Pleasant Speedway features Dirt Racing every Friday night for Michigan “modifieds”, limited late models, streets, 4 cylinders and Mud Boggs on a 3/8 Mile Clay Track from April through September.
Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe Ziibiwing Center
The Ziibiwing Center of Anishinabe Culture & Lifeway’s in Mount Pleasant, Mich. is the Midwest’s Premier American Indian Museum. Established in 2004, the Ziibiwing Center is a distinctive treasure created to provide an enriched, diversified and culturally relevant educational experience through its award-winning Diba Jimooyung (Telling Our Story) permanent exhibit, changing exhibits, research center, Ojibwe language immersion room, gift shop, and meeting rooms. The Ziibiwing Center is a non-profit cultural center and museum belonging to the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe of Michigan.
Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort The Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort is the Midwest’s premier AAA Four Diamond gaming and hospitality destination offering top-name entertainment, award-winning dining, high stakes bingo and a world class spa. Soaring Eagle Waterpark and Hotel The Soaring Eagle Waterpark, which opened in 2012, is a 45,000-square-foot indoor waterpark designed for toddlers, tweens, teens, and adults.
